Review: Although my love for other Disney films of the 1990s certainly weakened my love for Emperors New Groove is still as strong as ever. In fact, I'm beginning to think its a work of genius. The smart, modest, faster, and like Lilo and Stitch, do not feel that the vision of the film blended with action. The characters are constantly destroying the song, and there is a welcome lack of cloying sentiment. Not wise to speak cups here! The lightning comic timing, sharp writing and psycho no permanent inconsistent (ie, the last time I did not order a giant trampoline!) Enhances each viewing, and the voice work is uniformly excellent, from David Spades Emperor Patrick Warburtons fun bratty little boy toy Kronk Yzma Eartha Kitts (over-the-top screeching Erte style villainess an alleged secret laboratory is scary beyond reason). You get the impression that everyone had lots of fun doing it. The art direction and the reasons for rotating animation Inca is both stupid and beautiful and it shows what can be done miracles heard pixel eye. I even love all the local comedy LA, even with the Bobs Big Boy makes an appearance. Although I initially dismayed when I heard that the project, originally titled The Kingdom of the Sun, they had changed the Emperors New Groove, I think ultimately the changes are good things. Does the world really need another arrogant Disney music? No, I do not think either.
