Review: I went to start the working day of the Toronto International Film Festival. Most people go to wait for the Juno / Up in the Air and humorous style, if thats what you expect you'll be mildly surprised. The film is darker than normal, although you will still get Reitmans Communications. The film tells the story of Adele (Kate Winslet), a woman slowly closed off from the world, relies heavily on his young son Henry (Gattlin Griffith), whose father abandoned the wife and other children. A beautiful story, even though it is a little unreasonable, but I do not see what is important to the story, we also see, just like the character witness at last shot at happiness, and how the rest of the day hi, nh this weekend they spend together. This film is not in the direction of the discussion as much as Reitmans films are. The director said in an interview that he found it difficult to make a movie in which there was little dialogue (she actually talk without music or dialogue, and I walked half expect to see a silent film.) His to get around to Tobey Maguire as the film tells Henry up. The narrative works, although I think that the film could do without it. Do not let it complete silence keep you from seeing this movie, I've seen enough of the dialogue, and even though the music is not the same as Juno, it does not play the whole hipster music. The film is more subtle, but more, slower than his films, and it allows the actor takes us through every emotion. Kate Winslet is a great actress and she is as beautiful as Adele demonstrated convincingly depicts a woman whos to give up on life. Josh Brolin is great as well, giving us both a difficult prisoner and soft hearted person from time to time. Gattlin Griffith is a great kid to grow faster than it should be. Im always very insecure when it comes to a child actor, but he pulled it off very well. Finally, the work day is different, more adult and more mature Jason Reitman movie. A nice transition from comedy before him, and to go a little deeper than the other films ng of the box, that excitement, tears and laughter. Whether you are a fan or not Reitman, I recommend this movie, you'll be amazed.
